Editorial policy
Every fact on GTA VI HOW carries a status label, a source and the date we checked it. We correct errors in the open, label every rumour as a rumour, and never publish a number we can't trace back to Rockstar, a platform store or a named outlet.
Status labels
- Confirmed
- Stated by Rockstar, Take-Two or a platform store, and we opened that source ourselves.
- Reported
- Published by an established outlet, not yet confirmed by Rockstar.
- Rumour
- From leaks, insiders or social posts. Shown only when it is widely repeated, and always labelled.
- Debunked
- Shown to be false. The page stays up and says so.
- Not announced
- Nobody official has said. We don't guess.
Source tiers
- Primary: Rockstar Newswire, Rockstar Support, the Rockstar Store, the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
- Trade: established games outlets, used for reports and named as such.
- Community: Reddit, forums and social posts, used only as rumours.
Corrections
Every page has a "Tell us" link. Send corrections to [email protected]. We fix the page, update its date and keep the status label honest.
How we use AI
AI tools help us draft and check pages. A person reviews every page before it goes live, and every fact is checked against its source.
