Vice City in GTA 6

Vice City is GTA 6's neon-lit city and one of the six regions of Leonida. Rockstar pitches it as America's glamour, hustle and greed packed into one city, decades on from the '80s Vice City of earlier games. Six places in it are named so far, from Ocean Beach to VC Port.

What do we know about Vice City?

Rockstar's own pitch for the city is excess: the glamour, the hustle and the greed of America in a single place. It is still the sunshine-and-partying capital it was in the '80s, Rockstar says, only a long way on from that decade.

Each neighbourhood has its own draw. Ocean Beach has pastel art deco hotels and white sand. Little Cuba is known for its busy bakeries. The Tisha-Wocka flea market sells knock-off brands. VC Port is, in Rockstar's words, the cruise-ship capital of the world.

Rockstar's character profiles fill in the rest. Boobie Ike is a Vice City street legend who turned his past into real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. His partner Dre'Quan Priest wants to break into the city's music scene with the duo Real Dimez. Southside Vice City is home turf for the PTT Youngin$ gang.
